Excellent small project!
These kits come complete with everything you need (aside from scissors), and the instructions/charts are clear and easy to follow. The deigns are complex, but I do like that you don't HAVE to do the overstitching (line work) if you prefer not to... these come out beautifully even without them. I also recommend substituting size 13 or 18 mesh for the paper included in the kit. The paper is fine, but the coverage is better on needlepoint mesh or cross-stitch fabric. Also, throwing in a metallic thread in place of a color (like a gold) isn't a bad idea if you like a little sparkle in your work. Gorgeous little pieces that are easy to carry around while in progress, and which look great in a frame.
