Ok, so... I love beaded cross stitching. I do alot of it. This is the first time I have run out or gotten very close to running out of beads and thread! I ran out of two different colors of thread. 3811 Light Aqua and 552 Dark Purple. I'm lucky that I save all of the kits I have done and i was able to pull thread out of other kits to finish this. Now, the beads... The bag with Crystal Aqua, Brilliant Orange, and Elderberry was crazy. I ended up with 2 leftover Elderberry beads and 5 Brilliant Orange ones! Yes, two and five! That's cutting it way too close. Now, the Crystal Aqua!! What a joke. The bag had both the bead I needed -Crystal Aqua - and a Petite Aqua that I didn't need. I could only use the ones needed and I ran out of those beads quickly. I didn't have enough in my spare kits to finish, so I contacted Austiners and I will say they took care of me. They answered me quickly and since it was over the holidays, they gave me enough of a credit to go to a different website where I could order more to replace the missing ones. I have now completed the kit and I will say it's beautiful, but it sure was a headache to get completed. I just feel like over the last couple of years that quality control, when putting these kits together, has gone way downhill. Too bad.
