Alternatively, design can be stitched on 28 count fabric (not included) for use on pillows, purses, and other fabric-based projects.

Great kits, but a few annoying things
This review will cover my experience with all the Mill Hill kits (ornaments and Villages) I've done (30 plus and counting), not just this particular one. These kits were my pandemic lockdown lifesaver, and I don't know what I'd have done without them! The upside: the designs are adorable, the directions are good. The downside: occasional missing floss colors (I have to supplement from my own collection about 20% of the time), and general issues wrangling the floss. Most of the kits don't specify how many strands of each color there should be, so its really really difficult sometimes to get them sorted out correctly (the difference between palest blue, palest gray and palest lavender are subtle at best). The sorting job is best done in the morning, in bright natural daylight, after a strong cup of coffee.
